U.S. CAMERA MAGAZINE OCTOBER 1946.

Condition is Very Good. There is a slight tear/fold on the back cover, otherwise the magazine is intact and in very good shape (see photos).

This issue features an “exclusive Kodachrome” cover photo of the beautiful and talented red-haired actress, Maureen O’Hara (“The Hunchback of Notre Dame” with Charles Laughton and “The Quiet Man” with John Wayne) on set with glamour photographer Paul Hesse. The article on Hesse features photos of Jeanne Crain, Bette Davis, Barbara Stanwyck, Sonja Henie, June Allyson, Elyse Knox, and Gary Cooper.

The other article of great interest is a spread documenting the photography of the early Atomic Bomb tests at Bikini Atoll and other islands in the Marshall Islands, “Operation Crossroads”.

Finally, there are lots of great vintage camera ads in B&W and Color!
