For sale is an original piece of art from infamous Southwestern Kansas Artist Robert "Bob" Lee Foster. Bob was a musician and artist who studied at the Art Institute of Atlanta and Fort Hays State University. He worked in Atlanta, Germany, Greece and Italy. He had a relatively short life and only produced work from the late 70s through the 90s. His work is primal and extraordinarily human. While he exhibited in almost a dozen shows, he never achieved the celebrity of other Kansas artists like Thomas Hart Benton.

We are listing a group of seven works that were rescued from a junk building in Rush County Kansas. They are 100% authentic and I would be happy to provide a cert if you need provenance. Half are signed and half are not signed because these were apparently left in an unpaid storage unit and were never put in a gallery or listed for sale. They were personal works, which makes them very rare.

All of the works have some cosmetic issues. Make sure you look at the photos carefully. They all need a little restoration and/or mounting. They are raw artist work and their value is in their rawness.

Thanks for looking.
