Beautiful early 1900's watered roses cotton fabric in the most delightful roses & lilac pattern. Sometimes also referred to as a warp print or Ikat print. Lovely hues of golden yellow, and dusty green on cream. So much more beautiful in person. Very good quality cotton of it's day. It is large scale and smooth aprox quilting weight, or just a bit denser. Probably intended for curtains and bed pieces though can be used for so many things. It is the epitome of classic early 1900's romantic cottage style, the period of time when watered silk & watered silk ribbons were popular. Circa us about the early 1900's- 20's time frame.

Perfect for pillows & shams, windows,  lamps and an abundance of period projects. Again the scale is larger so if using for clothing, a larger piece (skirt etc..). I think covering period hat boxes or even a parasol would be amazing in this as would lovely table pieces or a period cottage duvet. I can very much visualize this being used with early gingham, possibly in the lavender, yellow, gold or soft green palette. Would be a lovely combination.

~*Condition is wonderful on this length; unused and very well stored/maintained over it's life. Pretty impressive especially given it's age.

~*Measures  35 inches wide by 1 yard long (36")

Many thanks!
