The Cyprus Sea Post Office 1906-1932, by Albert T. Madella. Records a fascinating aspect of Cyprus Post Office's sea borne operations.  The author is the son of Thomas Madella, who starting in 1908 was in charge of the sea borne mail sorting service that operated between Egypt and Cyprus.  With his father's personal memories and access to much original documentation he describes the service that dramatically speeded up delivery at minimal cost.  An informative book of interest to the postal historian of Cyprus and Egypt.  2002, 164 pages, hardcover with dust jacket, B&W illustrations.  Size: 7½" X 10½".
