40g to 5kg bags of high quality iron oxide based pigment in fifteen colours. High quality iron oxide pigment which gives a true strong colour.

The pigment colours shown should only be used as a guide, as finished results can vary depending on the amount of pigment, type of cement and sand used, type of aggregate used, drying temperatures etc. it is advisable to try a small sample first so you can alter the ratios to achieve the desired result.  The colour will also change as the concrete dries, which will take around 14 days.

When colouring concrete an addition rate of 3-5% by weight of cement would be recommended. It’s important to note that these pigment types have a saturation point of 7-9% and that additions of pigment beyond this rate yield no additional colour strength. Addition rates of less than 3% can be used when pastel shades are required. Similarly white cement is often used for lighter shades.

Instructions for use: best results come from adding to the dry mix of sand and ballast and thoroughly mixing: this helps break down the dye , before adding the cement and then the water. It is NOT advisable to mix the dye with water and then add to the dry mix as this won’t achieve a consistent result.

Use to colour:

The dry pigment is supplied in easy to seal clear plastic bags.

Rapid postage if required - please contact me if you require this.

The white dye is White Titanium dioxide for concrete, cement, paint, plastics, rubber, plaster, surface coatings, coating formulations, adhesives, sports pitches, tennis courts, white lines, road markings. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you consider using White Cement with this product. If you attempt to use this with grey cement all you will ever get is a lighter shade of grey in your final product. Using white cement gives with the pigment will give almost a pure white finish.( see my listings of paving slabs and fish)

They are high quality, dry, lightfast, odourless, alkali and weather resistant, UV stable, non-hazardous. This product is not designed and should never be applied to the external surface of any material as it will not stick and will run. Colours may vary due to natural variations.

I use these dyes extensively in my other listings so I am happy to answer any questions.
