>Offered here for your consideration is an old & original 1936 Waldport, Oregon ALSEA BAY BRIDGE dedication pinback/pin button!! Please see both photos, as they are an important part of my description. Buy-It-Now, or "make an offer". This very rare vintage pin measures a small-ish 3/4" across, with red lettering on a white backround. The pin reads: "Alsea Bay Bridge Dedication and Annual Crab Festival, Waldport, Oregon, May 8-9-10, 1936".  <>History: the original Alsea Bay Bridge was constructed along U.S. Route 101 near Waldport, Oregon. The offered 1936 pinback commemorates the bridge's construction and completion. The bridge was designed by Conde McCullough and opened in 1936; due to significant corrosion to the steel reinforcements and projects aimed at extending the life of the bridge, it was demolished in 1991 and a new bridge was built in its place.

<>Condition: the pin exhibits age spotting on the front, along with light tarnish on the reverse.
