2024 HARVEST SEASON
About honey:
Gathering place: Lithuania, Rokiškis region
Harvest Time: June 2024

We are selling 100% raw, organic, ecologic and without any admixtures honey which was collected from rapeseed blossoms.

According analysis, this honey is unifloral and contains more than 79% of nectar gathered by bees from rapeseed (canola) blossoms, the rest contains nectar from other plants blooming at spring (Salicaceae, Rosaceae plant families).

Honey is fully crystalized and some packages contains thin layer of natural white honey foam on top.
Honey foam is delicious. It is light, flavorful, and packed with air bubbles that have trapped some of the wondrous stuff that is in raw honey: pollen, propolis, wax, and, of course, raw honey.

Rapeseed Honey

Rapeseed honey is fairly white in color, while the aroma is similar to cabbage, with a taste much more delightful. It's also a preferred choice by many people because of the fact that it's not too sweet, has low acidity (high pH).

Consumption of rapeseed honey is tremendously healthy. It is thought that it treats kidney, as well as eye-related diseases. This honey also contains elements important for bone development. As such, it is used for osteoporosis treatment as well.
Once taken, honey is quickly absorbed by the intestinal mucosa. It has the ability to remove heavy metals from the body, while at the same time the regular intake of rapeseed lowers LDL cholesterol levels.
