Billy the Kid, at age 21, is dressed in a white shirt, dark
waistcoat and top hat. He is seated at a table playing cards. The black and
white image is thought to date to 1877 and is only the second confirmed image
of the notorious Wild West outlaw.
From left to right: Richard Brewer, Billy the Kid, Fred Waite and Henry Brown - all of whom were members
of his gang and were wanted men for various crimes.
