• ~*~ Hello and Welcome to the Textile Trunk! ~*~
This European cloth dates from 1880s and is a linen and cotton blend fabric~ !! Such a beautiful purple plaid pattern!  It could have been used as a napkin, handkerchief, bandanna, towel, etc!  The chances are it was used as a handkerchief, however I just can't be sure!  What I do know it is gorgeous!  The woven stripes are a beautiful purple tone on a slightly off-white aged ground. ~*~ This wonderful cloth has 2 sides which are selvage and the other sides are hand stitched with tiny stitches in a hem. There is a tiny hand stitched "A" monogram in red in one corner of this hankie.  This cloth would be gorgeous used as a napkin, little window treatment, bandanna, handkerchief or LOVELY for pillow making!  ( FF12 )

CONDITION: I've freshly laundered this gorgeous textile and it's ready to use.  Please note, I have two of these that I am selling here separately, so the condition may vary slightly for each.  There are some tiny speckled marks on each, and one tiny hole on each.  Condition reflected in the price!

MEASUREMENTS: This wonderful towel measures about 18.5 inches by 16.5 inches long
