Barley straw is a 100% natural product which when added to your pond will produce crystal clear water. Once the straw bales are wet, a natural process starts which combats algae growth.

This process is enhanced by the inclusion of lavender which gives significantly better results.

Directions:

Simply add 1 straw bale to ponds up to 1200 gallons (5455 Litres).
Replace every 8 weeks in the spring/summer/autumn period. For persistent algae issue, add 2 bales per 1200 gallons.

We endeavour to answer all messages within a few hours (working hours, weekdays only) but during busy periods this can extend to 24/48 hours.

Getting your goods to you safely is of prime importance to us and we try to go above and beyond when packaging your item. We aim to get all packages to our customers within 1-2 working days and items are sent by either Royal Mail recorded delivery or a fully tracked courier delivery service. Fish tanks are sent using a Pallet service and usually take around 3-5 days to be delivered.

Returns

We operate a friendly, reasonable returns policy that abides by current UK distance selling regulations.

Returns - General
1.1 All returns must be packaged adequately and we must be informed of your intention to return items under all circumstances.

1.2 You have the right to return any item, please ensure prior to purchase that the item you have selected is suitable for your needs. All returns will be subject to our scrutiny prior to refund or exchanges being made.

1.3 We reserve the right to only accept and process items returned packaged safely and securely.

1.4 Proof of postage is required in all circumstances in relation to returned item disputes.

Unwanted Returns
2.1 Unwanted items must be returned within 14 days of accepted delivery in the exact condition in which they were despatched. Items returned showing signs of usage will be subject to scrutiny before any form of refund is initiated. Any unwanted item found not to be in good order as supplied may incur additional charges that will be deducted from the overall refund total.

2.2 All return postage costs in the case of the item being simply unwanted must be covered by you.

Faulty Returns
3.1 Faulty returns returned for a refund must be returned within 30 days of accepted delivery.

3.2 Notification of faulty items after 30 days will be resolved via the items warranty.

3.3 Always contact us about faulty items before any return is started as most issues can be resolved without needing to return the item.
