Your new handcrafted, wooden headjoint for silver flute is made to order for you. Available woods for you to choose from are: Blackwood, Boxwood, Mopane, Kingwood, Rosewood, Pink Ivory Wood, Tulipwood and Brown Ebony (as or similar to the examples of my work shown in the uploaded pictures; individual wood species subject to availability, please inquire). The crown will be made from the same or a matching wood with engraving or plain, whichever you prefer.

The embouchure will be made according to your specifications or alternatively you can let me know what kind of music you play and what your preferences as to size and shape are.

If you have further/other requirements, please let me know and we will work together to get you a headjoint that is as close to your personal preferences as possible. (Please note, however, that I do not make copies of other makers´ headjoints!)

You can normally expect your headjoint to be ready in about 7 to 10 days from the date of purchase (if I have all the info and precise measurements I need to make your individual headjoint and provided I do not have a backlog)

* I offer a crack warranty of one year (repair or exchange, within maker´s descretion; excludes shipping charges) on this headjoint -provided the advice regarding oiling and playing in, is followed. Limit of one replacement per customer. Accidental damage, abuse, and/or neglect as well as re-sale voids this warranty.

Your headjoint will be ready to be posted within 7 to 10 days after payment is received. For insurance reasons I am unfortunately not able to combine postage.

A little about the process of making my headjoints:

These wooden headjoints are handcrafted by a trained woodwind instrument maker! I carefully select and season my own wood and every headjoint I sell is handcrafted by myself from scratch!  I do not use CNC machinery or copying devices but every headjoint is individually handmade with the use of a precision lathe. The embouchure hole is cut and shaped the traditional way, entirely with handtools.
