Lovely length of retro 60's satin jacquard damask. Large scale acanthus medallions done in a very intense palette of gold/yellow and orange. This is a satin weave in a large scale probably made for draperies as it's not overly bulky or stiff like upholstery satins, very fluid. I imagine a blend of its period.
Again, I believe probably 1960's though this palette was also very popular in the early 70's so could be just a tad later.
Excellent for  unique retro, regency and mod interior projects. Could be quite fun to play with in clothing elements or costuming, millinery, bags etc..

At the time of this listing, I have a similar textile in green and yellow listed as well.

**Condition is very nice for it's age. Appears unused and in very good order.
**Measures 49 inches wide 61" long so quite a bit to work with.

Many thanks!

Welcome to my store! I sell antique and vintage fabric. Each textile is different; some possibly used, some unused. I will give you my best assessment. I do not always launder them nor do I know all their history, how they have been stored over time etc.. I have a 30+ year long &  extensive knowledge of textiles and gauge age ranges; fiber content etc.. to the best of my ability. As always please view all photos, dimensions etc.. as they are part of the description. Please keep in mind that I provide the best photos possible but monitors do vary. If my eyes should miss a small flaw, please know it is not intentional. I am always available and happy to answer any inquiries so always please ask if I have not addressed something that may be important to you.

I do combine shipping whenever possible. If you are an international buyer or purchasing multiple pieces, please wait for my personal invoice as ebay's auto. combined invoices are rarely accurate. You can do this by either messaging me or using the drop down button that says "request total from seller" after your purchase but prior to paypal checkout. Again, if you have any questions, please message me.
