MOTORIZED BICYCLE 12 Volt Generator 2 CYCLE Engine Lights -Battery

Here's a 12 Volt Dynamo Generator (12 Volt Mini-Gen) designed for motorized bicycle 2-cycle engines. This generator produces electricity to run bike lights or other systems up to 10 watts (recommended) Install this 12 Volt Mini-Gen into your 2 cycle engine as seen in photo. This will product AC voltage while engine is running. Voltage will increase with engine speeds, accumulating to 12 volts @ just above idle speeds and more at high speeds. The Mini-Gen can be used to run your lights directly or used to charge a battery which is connected to your lights or other electrical accessories.

To run headlights directly, the headlight should be: 1. Rated about no more than 10 watts (recommended) 2. Compatible with AC voltage. Any dynamo type bicycle 12 volt headlight should work just fine since the bicycle dynamo is also an AC volt generator. Scooter type LED headlights would also work, but most are not AC voltage compatible, so might not get full brightness with AC generator. They work better with DC volts (battery). To use this Mini-Gen for battery charging, do NOT connect it directly to battery. A rectifier must be used, preferably with a voltage regulator so battery is not overcharged. A rectifier will convert AC volts to DC volts for charging your battery.
