Incredible pattern on this 1970's batik panel. Beautiful design elements throughout. Marvelous rich hues as well. Green, magenta pink, ochre/brown, navy and purple. The green is a rich grass green not a teal or chartreuse as some of my photos captured as the sun went in and out today.

Interestingly this was French sourced but is marked Alladin. I've not found anything on vintage Alladin so not certain where this was manufactured originally, possibly Thailand is my best hunch.

It measures*** 48" wide by 90" ***and done in 2 panels which are joined horizontally. The panel on top slightly smaller than the lower panel but joined well as you have to know the seam is there, otherwise not noticeable to the design.

There are so many incredible design elements to be used in projects or used as i  for a window, table or single bed/day bed, wall piece etc...

This has never been used or washed so has a slightly denser body than say a sarong batik which can have that fluid rayon feel. It may soften with washing. A good body for pillows, bags and even a light decorative type upholstery.

I believe all cotton, may be a blend of this period though.
