BIRDS OF PREY.
With their acute eyesight, birds of prey peer from high altitudes for prey on the ground. If the pursuit is succesful, the birds use their powerful talons and hooktipped beaks to catch and kill their prey.
Although birds of prey in the Netherlands are not yet safe from extinction, there are signs of a recovery of their population.
