This is a rare May 7th, 1934 programme (playbill) from the one-week, Post-London engagement of the GORDON DAVIOT play "RICHARD OF BORDEAUX" at the Theatre Royal in Birmingham, England. (The Original West End production opened February 2nd, 1933 at the New Theatre in London and ran for 472 performances. The Original Broadway production opened February 14th, 1934 at the Empire Theatre in New York City and ran for only 38 performances.) ..... The play starred JOHN GIELGUD as "Richard II" and GWEN FFRANGCON-DAVIES as "Anne of Bohemia" and the cast included RICHARD AINLEY, LEONARD HIBBS, ERIC STANLEY, BEN WEBSTER, GEORGE HOWE, EARLE GREY, H.
