This is the printer's first proof copy of this work. It was printed in 1929 as indicated with purple stamps on numerous pages. It is unbound and inside of a slipcase with a handwritten label. Also included are two handwritten letters regarding this particular item. Since this is a proof copy there may be differences between the text in this copy and the text printed in the First Edition. This is prior to the First Edition and is therefore unique and desirable.

Some minor rubbing and wear, some damage to the slipcase, else in very good condition.
