This is a rare glossy 8" X 10" inch press photograph of RAY BOLGER, who would be starring in the new NANCY HAMILTON and MORGAN LEWIS musical revue "THREE TO MAKE READY" at the Shubert Theatre in Boston, Massachusetts. (The show opened February 7th, 1946 at Boston's Shubert Theatre for a ten-day tryout. The Original Broadway production would open March 7th, 1946 at the Broadhurst Theatre in New York City and run for 327 performances.) ..... This was the final revue in a trilogy that included "One For The Money" and "Two For The Show". The musical starred RAY BOLGER (best known as "The Scarecrow" in the classic film "The Wizard of Oz") and featured BRENDA FORBES, ARTHUR GODFREY, ROSE INGHRAM, JANE DEERING, GORDON MacRAE, HAROLD LANG, BIBI OSTERWALD, ALTHEA ELDER, MARY ALICE BINGHAM, MARY McDONNELL, EDYTHIA TURNELL, CANDACE MONTGOMERY, GARRY DAVIS, JOE JONSON, CARLETON CARPENTER, MARTIN KRAFT, JACK PURCELL, IRWIN CHARLES, JIMMY VENABLE and MEG MUNDY .....
