Designer Greg Padginton took inspiration from the Hot Wheels logo when creating the Turbo Flame. As its name suggests, this vehicle both resembles Hot Wheels' iconic fire flames and is built for speed. The 1998 Treasure Hunt Series edition is a reptilian-inspired take on this unique race car. Its chrome body is hidden under layers of black and green checkerboard-like scales, while black plates—reminiscent to those found on the back of a stegosaurus⁠—adorn the top.
