Many are from early performances when revisions were common and include song titles that were cut before opening in New York ....... This is a rare December 5th, 1926 program (playbill) from the Pre-Broadway engagement of the new JAMES MONTGOMERY, IRVING CAESAR and PHILIP CHARIG musical comedy "YES, YES, YVETTE" at the 4 Cohans Theatre in Chicago, Illinois. (The Original Broadway production would open October 3rd, 1927 at the Sam H. Harris Theatre in New York City and close after only forty performances.) ..... The musical starred JEANETTE MacDONALD in the title role and the cast included LYNNE OVERMAN, HERBERT CORTHELL, LEO HENNING, JERE DELANEY, ARNOLD LUCY, LESLIE STILES, GRACE STUDIFORD, AMY REVERE, HELENE LYND and MADELYN KILLEEN ..... CONDITION: With the exception of light creasing and minor edge wear, this rare program is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
