This is a rare ticket envelope and loose ticket stub from the December 10th, 1927 matinee screening of the Universal Pictures silent film "UNCLE TOM'S CABIN" at the Central Theatre on Broadway at 47th Street in New York City. (The film's release date was November 4th, 1927.) ..... Based on HARRIET BEECHER STOWE's world famous story, the film starred JAMES B. The December 10th, 1927 ticket stub measures approx. 1 1/2" X 1 1/2" inches ..... CONDITION: With the exception of light creasing to the envelope and slight discoloration to the ticket stub, this rare set is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any classic film aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
