This is a rare March 10th, 1947 "Playtime" playbill from the National Tour engagement of the HAROLD ROME and ARNOLD AUERBACH "Gay Welcome Home" musical revue "CALL ME MISTER" at the Shubert Theatre in Boston, Massachusetts. (The production opened April 18th, 1946 at the National Theatre in New York City and ran for 734 performances while simultaneously playing on the road.) ..... The musical starred BETTY KEAN and the cast included CARL REINER, BUDDY HACKETT, BOB FOSSE (two years before he would make his Broadway debut in "Dance Me A Song"), ALAN DREEBEN, JERRY ROSS, BETTY BURGE, JANE LAWRENCE, BILL MEIGS, MARIAN NILES (Bob Fosse's first wife), WILLIAM WARFIELD, MARILYN DAY, WILLIAM LE MASSENA, PETER TURGEON, CHARLENE HARRIS, HOWARD MORRIS and RUPERT BARON as well as many returning World War II servicemen .....
