The Indianapolis Spindizzy model is completely hand-built & handcrafted of recycled polished aluminum and brass. The seat is made of red faux leather. The wheels are aluminum and the tires are made of rubber. This reproduction Indianapolis tether car model was designed by using original blueprints and resembles the original Spindizzy model down to the smallest detail.

The 1930s saw the rise of hand-built model race cars, known as spin dizzies or tether cars. Miniature race cars built by hobbyists zoomed around banked wooden tracks at speeds approaching 150 miles per hour. Resembling the full-size racers of their day, several spins dizzies competed at once, tethered by cables to a central pole. Powered by model airplane engines, spin dizzies raced against the clock. Incredibly detailed and aerodynamic, these miniature race cars were beyond toys; they were pieces of art representative of the best pioneering technology of the era. Constructed using original blueprints our Bantam Midget model resembles the original down to the smallest detail. One look and you’ll be ready to join the competition.

Shipping Policy

We are proud to provide FREE shipping on most of our items shipped within the contiguous United States. For items shipped outside of the contiguous United States, additional freight costs and handling fees will apply, in which case we will use our preferred carriers to guarantee the least possible costs to you. So, there is no confusion, you will always be able to review your shipping costs during the checkout. If we are unable to ship to your location, we will contact you by phone or email to make the necessary adjustments to your order. Standard Ground Shipping: Small Parcel FedEx and UPS Items

Based on the size and weight of your product, we will determine how it should be shipped. For small parcel items, we ship through FedEx or UPS. Most items shipped through FedEx or UPS are shipped without a signature required. To require a signature, please leave us a note in the comment field in your order and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Freight Delivery: Large or Oversized Items

For shipping large furniture and furnishings, we use a freight carrier service. Freight deliveries are made Monday through Friday anytime between 8 am and 5 pm in the delivery time zone. For residential deliveries, on the day of your delivery, you will be contacted by the freight carrier to set up a delivery appointment. Standard freight shipments are delivered curbside. If you would like to upgrade to white glove delivery service, you will have the option to do so at the checkout. All freight deliveries require a signature, and customers are responsible for inspecting their packages for visible damage before signing. If your item(s) have any visible damage, the damage must be noted with the freight carrier on the delivery receipt. Please inspect the boxes carefully and note any visible damage on the delivery receipt as this will significantly expedite the claim process. Please refer to our Damaged Items section for more details.

Estimated Shipping Dates

At the time the order is placed, an email with order confirmation is sent, which includes approximate lead time for the order. Please be aware, shipping dates are only estimated and can change based on product availability. Once the order is accepted by the manufacturer, we will send you an updated approximated ship date if it is different from the original date that was communicated during order confirmation. After you receive the updated ship date, you will have 24 hours to make changes/cancellations to your order via Ebay Message. If the order is not canceled, we will proceed with the production of the order.

Returns Policy

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
