The Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) sensor that is protected by the cover are extremely finicky and often throw codes even when no cover is present due to suspension, tire, and grille changes, dirt, snow, weather, etc. There is even a Toyota service bulletin that reads as follows:

"As you may be aware, Toyota recently introduced TSS on Tacoma models, TSS on these vehicles utilizes a camera and millimeter wave radar that are carefully calibrated dyring the vehicle manufacturing process.
In order to maintain this calibration and ensure proper function of the system, Toyota reminds all dealers that we recommend dealers do NOT modify vehicles in any manner that will affect these systems, including by not limited to changing the original tire sizes and/or vehicle suspension components such as "lift kits" and/or lowering springs and swapping out the applicable Non-TRD Pro grilles (and vice versa)."
Ensuring a tight fit of both the grille and sensor cover is key in helping reduce sensor issues.
Even installing everything correctly may trip a sensor.
Some warnings will come and go, others will self-calibrate after a couple/few weeks and not come back, others may require recalibration at a dealer.

This item comes with 60 day exchange (replacement) warranty. Buyer could choose exchange to same item or apply store credit to other items in our store. Exchange will be processed after we received return.

We only accept refund request for un-opened or un-used item, buyer has to return item in original condition and retail package within 30 day. 20% restocking fee will be deducted for all refund cases. Refund will be processed after we received return.

Buyer is responsible for return shipping cost of ALL exchange/refund cases. We will cover shipping cost when sending out replacement.

Products that are modified/customized are NOT covered by our return/exchange policy.

Compatibility issue:

Please check actual stock bulb model & housing size before purchasing replacement bulbs. Compatibility list on eBay listing is not a complete list and it is a known issue that there are errors on it.

If you encounter model/functional compatibility issue, please contact us for assistance. We will help you exchange to compatible item (if available).
