How to drive 3840x2160 4K LCD? |
---As far as I know, the graphic card has to be at least the 4th generation haswell/maxwell structure. ---The signal source can be from computer or laptop. ......The DP signal cable will be the standard DELL brand. The LCD will be blink if you use the normal DP cable. The normal DP cable cannot effectively prevent interference outside. ......If the DP interface of your graphic card is DP1.2 version, the signal will be DP1.2(3840x2160@60Hz). The driver board will also work at 3840x2160@60Hz ......If the HDMI/DVI interface of your graphic card is HDMI 1.2~1.4 version, the HDMI / DVI signal will be only HDMI 1.2(3840x2160@30Hz). In this case, the driver board only works at 3840X2160@30Hz, not 3840x2160@60Hz. If the HDMI/DVI is the latest HDMI 2.0 version, the singnal will be 3840x2160@60Hz and the driver board will work at 3840x2160@60Hz also via the HDMI/DVI cable. |
