3 Pieces + Antique White Silk Pillow
This listing is for a beautiful 3 piece set of antique dollhouse bedroom
furniture from the late 1800s. I believe they are Schneegas pieces from
Germany. They are in good condition for their age, though they will have
some normal antique wear. The doorknob on the wardrobe is not original,and is a thumbtack. The door must be opened carefully with a knife
because it sticks and the knob is not adequate to open it. The drawer
opens and the metal back of the handle is missing one corner. The inside
has original purple paper with stars! One shelf was glued back in, so
you can see where the paper was re-glued if you look carefully. The
mirror is original and will have some tarnish/spotting. Its back paper
was also re-glued on. There are places where glue shows slightly at the
seams of the furniture ~ I have noticed this is common on many Schneegas
pieces. The wood on these is slightly coarse. The bed has a flannel
mattress which is attached ~ that may not be original. It includes two
large pillows which are antiques and are covered in silk; the silk is
splitting and falling apart. Interestingly, the cushions are stuffed
with red fabric which shows through. The nightstand door tends to swing
open. Its drawer does open. Measurements: Bed is 6 1/16'' long x 3 1/2''
wide x 4 3/4'' tall. Wardrobe is just over 6 3/4'' tall x 2 3/8'' deep x
almost 4'' wide. Nightstand is 4 1/4'' tall x almost 2 3/8'' wide x 1
1/2'' deep. This listing includes 3 pieces of furniture + two large
