Tips and Advice

Preparing the surface: Ensure surfaces to be painted are clean (no dirt, grease or flaking paint) and dry. Sand down the surface to remove any sheen. Refer to health, safety and environmental information. Areas affected by mould, algae, fungi or lichen should be treated with an appropriate fungicidal wash. Prepare bare wood with Weathershield Exterior Preservative Primer+ (BP), wiping off any excess. Prepare bare metal with Dulux Primer & Undercoat for Multi Surfaces. Surface defects should be repaired using the appropriate Polycell product.

Cleaning:For best results, scrape off excess paint from the brush and clean with water.

Storing :Store paint in dry conditions and protect from extreme temperatures.
