This is a silky feel material that has a stunning pattern in shades of blue on a cream background

Soft to touch material that has just been sitting folded in a draw, never worn

The waist band is in several sections, the front and back middle sections are elasticated and at the front it has an extra pull tie through belt, in the same material that has silver coloured metal tubes that have a complimentary design stamped on them.  The waist band is 1.5 inch deep.  Either side of this elasticated section at the front to the side seam there is a section of waist band that is not elasticated, this is 3.5 inches long and the same depth as the elasticated section.  This is repeated at the back of the skirt

There are two open top pockets at the front which start at the side of the elasticated section and scoop down to meet the side seam.

Size 16 the approximate un-stretched waist measurements are:

From the side seam across the waist it is 17 inches, giving a circumference of 34 inches 

Taking the side seam measurements across the hips they give a circumference of 62 inches, stretched, which gives you an idea of the shape of the skirt and how much material there is without it looking odd as the style has been mindful of the extra material.  

The cut of the skirt is very flattering especially with the way the material hangs 

This could be worn to work, a formal occasion or to go out shopping/on holiday it all depends what you decide to wear with it.
