He was drafted by the Montreal Expos with the 24th overall pick in the 1990 draft.  White played there from 1993-2000.  He was traded to the Chicago Cubs for Scott Downs on July 31, 2000.  He played for the team until 2001.  On December 17, 2001 he signed a two-year deal with the New York Yankees.  On March 19, 2003 he was traded from the Yankees to the San Diego Padres for Bubba Trammell and Mark Phillips.  That year he made his first career All-Star team.  On August 26, 2003 he was traded to the Kansas City Royals for Chris Tierney and Brian Sanches.  After the season he became a free agent and signed with the Detroit Tigers.  After two seasons with the Tigers, he signed with the Minnesota Twins on December 22, 2005.  He finished his career in 2007 with a career .284/.336/.462 batting line with 198 home runs and 768 runs batted in.

This is his gray knit button-down game worn jersey and probably from the 2004 season.  Detroit" scripted across the front.  Numbers on the left center front also.  Navy braid around the neck and down the jersey front.  MLB patch on the back just below the neckline in team colors.  "WHITE" arched across the front directly on the back.  All sewn on navy numbers and letters that are edged in orange and outlined in white.  Tagged in the lower front with the large white Russell Authentic Collection tag that features a tag below it that has "48 POLYESTER" on it.
