Vintage 1960’s Crowncorder CSC-505SW Transistor Radio & Cassette Player/Recorder.

This is a Vintage 1960’s Crowncorder CSC-505SW Transistor Radio & Cassette Player/Recorder. It is in excellent condition. The radio is in full working order, the cassette is working but for some reason it will only play from the left hand speaker. The sticker for the play button is missing. The frequency ranges for the radio are MW, SW1 & SW2. It has a black plastic case with chrome trims (chrome paint around the speakers) and carry handle. The control knows are chrome and crocodile skin patterned black plastic. All the chrome is in good order with very slight pitting (barely noticeable). The antenna is in perfect order with no breaks and free from rust. The speakers at the front are protected by a plastic grill (which also display the “Crowncorder” logo) which is in great condition with no bumps or dents. The clear plastic with the back printed frequency numbers is also in great condition with no scratches or cracks. This can be powered by a mains supply (cable included) or 6 size “D” batteries. The only thing I didn’t test is the external antenna outlet.
