French, Art Deco pair of leaping antelopes, ceramic crackled-glaze. Signed Charles Lemanceau, who was one of the most important sculptors, particularly of animals, in the French Art Deco period. Date early 1930s. Length 50.5cm x 13cm wide. There is a tiny piece of glaze missing on the base and an even smaller piece off one ear, see photos.
