HATCHING INSTRUCTIONS OF ROTIFER
PREPARATION
- Culture container of about 1 to 5 liters, (can be plastic or glass). Size varies according to the number of rotifers you wish to produce, the larger the container, the better the water quality will be and the more rotifers it can house and produce.
- The eggs need pure water to hatch.
- An aquarium air pump is required when the population of Rotifer is too dense.
- Food for Rotifer should ready to feed before the hatching process.

HATCHING
- Put the eggs into the container and fill up.
- Use bottled water for the best result. Distilled water and reverse osmosis water are recommended. However, you can use fresh water from your aquarium as well.
- Please check the ammonia it’s need to less than 1.5 milligrams per liter and PH within 6.5-9.0
- Do not use any kind of chemical.
- Dry eggs float on the surface of the water. Slowly stir any floating eggs into the water.
Usually, first hatch appears in 6-10 hours under sunlight and most of them hatch out in 24 hours. If out of 24 hours some of eggs still not hatch. Please make the eggs dry and start the hatch process again.
- Use a flashlight in the dark to confirm the hatching, they will gather to the front of the light.

LET THE CONTAINER RECIEVE ENOUGH LIGHT
- Sunlight is the best option for a higher hatching rate. Let the eggs receive sunlight as long as possible in the temperature range. Only 1 hour of sunlight can improve the hatching rate. Be careful overheating retain temperature between 77°F and 90°F (25°C and 32°C)
- Use brightness lamp if sunlight is not provided. Keep on the light 14 hrs a day
- Keep the water temperature within the range
Rotifer hatch between 77°F and 90°F (25°C and 32°C),The temperature ranges showing the good range, it's not the minimum and maximum.

FOOD
- Rotifer eats by filter feed. Have many food can feed such as Bacteria, Yeast and Chlorella (Found the Rotifer grow well when feed with Chlorella.)
- Reduce the risks that come from overfeeding.
- Remember that uneaten food turns into ammonia so keep eyes on the ammonia levels as more people tend to kill them with kindness by overfeeding.
- Feed 1-2 times per day.
- Do not feed again if the water is still hazy.

Please Note: these are not guaranteed success and there is a chance they will not hatch. this can be due to a number of reasons.
