This is a rare single page advertising handbill (flyer) promoting ticket sales for the two-week, return engagement of the JEAN GIRAUDOUX play "THE MADWOMAN OF CHAILLOT" at the New York City Center Theatre in New York City beginning June 13th, 1950. (The production opened December 27th, 1948 at the Belasco Theatre in New York City and ran for 368 performances before going on the road. Following the tour, the production returned to the City Center Theatre on June 13th, 1950 for seventeen additional performances.) ..... The play starred MARTITA HUNT (winner of the 1949 Tony Award for "Best Actress in a Play") and featured JOHN CARRADINE, ESTELLE WINWOOD, NYDIA WESTMAN, ELEONORA MENDELSSOHN, MARTIN KOSLECK, JONATHAN HARRIS and LOUIS SORIN .....
