NAPCO ivory rose goblet Bedford gold trim & accents Ohio décor 1962 kitschy vase


This is a previously-owned, off-white/ivory goblet with an applied rose and leaves on one side and gold trim and accents manufactured by Napco in 1962. It measures approximately 6 inches tall and is approximately 4½ inches in diameter, with no cracks anywhere that we can see or feel (it was mostly on display).

The National Potteries Corporation, or Napco, was founded in Bedford, Ohio, in 1938. Although Ohio was a center for art pottery in the middle of the 20th century, being the home of Rookwood, Roseville, and Weller, Napco only produced its own products, mostly vases for flowers, for a handful of years. After WWII, Napco grew by importing collectible ceramic novelty items from Japan’s ceramics manufacturing centers…
