This is a rare April 27th, 2011 OPENING NIGHT playbill from the Original Broadway production of the LARRY KRAMER play "THE NORMAL HEART" at the Golden Theatre in New York City. (The Original Off-Broadway production opened April 21st, 1985 at the Public/ Luesther Hall in New York City, later moved to the larger Public Anspacher Theatre on June 4th, 1985 and ran for 294 performances. The Original Broadway production opened April 27th, 2011 and ran for 86 performances.) ..... "THE NORMAL HEART" was the first production to deal openly with the then controversial subject of AIDS.
