(The production opened September 25th, 1950 and ran for 610 performances.) ..... The play starred JUNE HAVOC (shown in the cover photo) who had replaced CELESTE HOLM and featured REGINALD OWEN, BARBARA O'NEIL, SHEPPERD STRUDWICK, ELMER BROWN and HARRY BANNISTER ..... Side Note: JUNE HAVOC, sister of GYPSY ROSE LEE, will forever be known as the real "Dainty June" portrayed in the classic Jule Styne and Stephen Sondheim musical comedy "GYPSY" .....
