This is a rare March 2nd, 1951 program (playbill) from the two-night, Post-Broadway engagement of the WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE comedy "AS YOU LIKE IT" at the Auditorium Theatre in Rochester, New York. (The production opened January 26th, 1950 at the Cort Theatre in New York City and ran for 145 performances before going on the road.) ..... The play starred KATHARINE HEPBURN (shown in the cover photo) and featured WILLIAM PRINCE, VANESSA BROWN, MILTON PARSONS, AUBREY MATHER, DUDLEY JONES, WHITFORD KANE, ERNEST GRAVES, FRANK ROGIER and ROBERT FOSTER ..... CONDITION: With the exception of a bumped corner at the bottom right and minor discoloration, this rare playbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
