He graduated from the Nicolae Grigorescu College of Fine Arts in Bucharest 
as a student of László Kazár (1974).
First a graphic editor for the Young Worker and then for Kriterion Publishing.
He has lived in Montreal, Canada since 1981.
It was employed by various genres of applied graphics. 
He made book covers, illustrations, posters, art photographs,
posters promoting Kriterion publications.
His works have been successful at several international graphic and poster exhibitions,
including Warsaw in 1974 and 1975, Barcelona in 1975, Montreal, Brussels, Basel, Geneva and Bonn.
His poster protesting against the village ruins in Romania became known throughout the world during the dictatorship.
In 1990, he designed the book cover for the new series of the Transylvanian Guild of Fine Arts.
In 1991, he exhibited Cluj-Napoca from his artistic photographs.
