~This beautiful textile is an Antique hand-woven hemp and wool blanket. This stunning blanket is all woven by hand in the Carpathian Mountain Region of Europe about 100 years ago~ this blanket comes from a personal collection, they are rare and wonderful~*~ This blanket is woven using both linen ( heavy hemp) and  natural wool. . The colors are: pale natural hemp, deep dark chocolate brown wool  ~*~  It is constructed by hand weaving the 2 lengths, and they are hand stitched together down the middle in a very primitive hand stitch. The ends are hand stitched with a hem. This lovely textile weighs just under 6 pounds!! ~*~ Beautiful and heavy weight ~*~ gorgeous quality   . ~*~ It would make a STUNNING throw or bed cover or could also be used as upholstery fabric, heavy curtain~~ perfect  gift for any textile lover and a wonderful textile for any collection! ~ ( blanket C67)
