Beautiful length of antique Chinoiserie silk brocade. Lovely old deep tones of maroon (madder), gold, black and gray. The gray may have ben a purple originally which has gone fugitive over the years. Overall, the hues have beautifully mellowed over time.
A most wonderful  length I acquired as part of a collection of early silk textiles. Most were 18thc French.
I don't know very much about this piece though feel strongly at least 19thc, my initial guess around the 1860's. The feel of the silk fibers also tell me it's an earlier silk.
I am attempting to research this further.
It is a stunning example of earlier chinoiserie silk.
Appears strong and stable for it's age & being silk. The edges are raw.
I will be listing 2 separate lengths of this in 2 different listings.

**Measures~ 23" wide by 20" long. I can keep your length selected uncut.
An excellent piece added to a collection of early textiles, framed or used in projects and restoration work.

Many thanks!
