At Crown DIY we offer free shipping on the majority of our listings. Most items arrive to the customer within 3 full working days of dispatch, however, this is not guaranteed and delivery may take up to 5 days. Orders placed before 2pm (Mon to Fri) are typically dispatched the same day, otherwise, within the next business day. Where possible, we aim to provide you with tracking information via email and on your eBay order, which can also be viewed in your eBay purchase history. For bulkier items please make sure a valid phone number is shown in your eBay account or sent along in a message to us as we will contact you to confirm delivery details.

We use a variety of proven couriers depending on weight and size. Please note eBay's delivery dates are estimates only and not guaranteed and may vary with package origin and destination, particularly during peak periods. If you require any products urgently, we recommend upgrading your delivery or sending us a message to confirm delivery details and dates.

We deliver smaller parcels to N Ireland and Scotland (including the Scottish highlands) at no extra cost, however for bulkier items like paint, bathrooms, doors and radiators ect, there could be a surcharge. A £2 surcharge is applied for smaller items to the following postcodes, IM, HS, ZE. If any other delivery limitations apply, the delivery information will be provided in the product description. If you are unsure of anything please send us a message. Due to eBay policies, we cannot change a delivery address once payment has been received so please ensure that your delivery address is correct prior to placing the order. If your delivery is heavy and requires more than one person to lift, please arrange for this as the delivery drivers will not carry heavy loads on their own.

Although infrequent and unusual, delays to deliveries can occur. This is usually due to factors out of our control such as courier delays and weather conditions. If you have not received your items within 7 days, please send us a message before opening an item not received case and we will be more than happy to help. We will investigate the issue and contact you with the information discovered. If the item has been deemed lost, we will arrange a refund or re-delivery.

At Crown DIY we have a 30 day return policy if you change your mind, provided that the item is returned unused and in its original condition. We cannot accept responsibility for returned items damaged or lost in the post so advice you use a tracked method. The return postage cost will be paid by the customer unless the products received are wrong, damaged, or faulty in which case please send us a message so we can arrange delivery. All damages must be reported to us via the eBay my messages system within 2 days of delivery.

Please also remember to double-check your delivery address before ordering as this cannot be changed after ordering due to eBay policies. If the goods ordered are unavailable, we will contact you with an ETA or suggestions of goods of equivalent quality. We will endeavour to deliver goods within the times stated but goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes out of our control. Any dates we specify for the delivery of goods are approximate and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods. 

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR LARGE/BULKY ITEMS ONLY (such as bathrooms, radiators, doors, tool cabinets). Please check your eBay / PayPal account has a valid telephone number prior to ordering or send us a message with your contact number after ordering as the courier will need this to arrange delivery of your item.

Once the delivery driver arrives, open all packaging and visually inspect the goods for damage whilst the driver is there. If an item is damaged please sign as damaged and contact us or refuse delivery. On bulkier items, we reserve the right to take a fee if you miss delivery or change your mind.  Please remember to leave us positive feedback if you are satisfied with your order. If you are dissatisfied, contact us first and we will be more than happy to help and try our best to resolve the problem for you.
