They allow children (and adults!) to gain a clearer understanding of the concept of place value, both to visualise the size and relationship between the numbers and to aid in calculating with them. Ideal for teaching column addition and subtraction.
There are 4 different types of blocks, representing, Thousands, Hundreds, Tens and Ones (or units). They are appropriately sized to show the relative values.
3D printed from strong and durable PLA filament, they are tactile, lightweight and easy to use.
