 This masterly book provides a vivid account of the French Revolution. J.M. Thompson brings to life as no other historian before or since, the events of the time and the aspirations, hopes, and fears of those who lived through it.  

In blue hardcover with titles and lines in gilt to the cover and spine, in 590 pages. There is some very light shelfwear, and very light sunning to the spine. There are no previous owners' names or inscriptions. There is very light scattered foxing to the first few pages only. There are no missing, loose, stained, damaged, or creased pages. The pages are bright, fresh and crisp throughout. It is complete and original. Measures 16cm x 24cm.
