The collection that this card originates from appears to
have been assembled during the late 1940’s through the early 1950’s. The buttons range from antique to vintage buttons
and all were handsewn onto cards. 

The cards were handwritten by the former owner
with the material the buttons were made of.
Although we assume they knew about buttons, some cards
may contain other materials than the ones they described.

This card measures approx. 8” X 4” and the paperweight
buttons measure approx. 1/2” in diameter. 
There was 5 buttons altogether on this card; the middle one
was broken off a long time ago and I'm not sure
what the one on the far right is, possibly plastic.


Please note that the quarter is for size reference only
and not included in the sale.
