THE DGAS SERIES WEBER CARB

The 38mm DGAS synchronous carb should be the only consideration if the engine is in the future, or currently, going to have any level of additional engine modification. Such as headers, free flowing exhaust, a cam, or rebuilt engine. Usually these motors will be improved over stock with oversize pistons and towing cam. The 38 will enhance the improvements of any of these items.


The 38 DGAS synchronous carburetor when supplied in kit form from REDLINE is also pre-calibrated for use on stock or slightly modified motors and will not be over carbureted. It also provides the best starting point for engines that are ultimately going to be upgraded with additional performance Items with performance over fuel economy being the ultimate goal.

Volvo Penta AQ115-AQ130 (B18 or B20 engine)

Redline kit number K 864 fits the 1960's to 1970's Volvo Penta 4cly gasoline engines (B18 or B20)- sohc - 8v. This conversion maintains existing manufacture linkage, with minor variations. These conversions are calibrated and have float and fuel level modifications for this use and function.

Due to engine and regional fuel variations, It is suggested that you purchase our additional Jet pac kit (701-DGS) for specific fuel economy and additional performance gains. This pac is a jetting assortment for low range and high range tuning and can help improve additional fuel economy to specific use. Jetpac is complete with tuning guide and instructions to assist in best results.

K864 is specifically designed for marine application Volvo Penta engines and has a coast guard approved filter. Complies with:


  • “Recreational Boating Safety Regulations”

  • “Code of Federal Regulations” CFR 183 Subpart J, Carburetors

  • “United States Coast Guard”

 Verify if your intake is straight (90 degrees to head) or slanted (angled)

We also offer this kit for the later B21/B230 applications with the slanted intake manifold (as opposed the to the intake manifold in this kit which is a straight 90 degree mount to the head).
