This is a rare August 1973 program (playbill) from the Summer Stock engagement of the RICHARD RODGERS and LORENZ HART musical comedy "PAL JOEY" at the Broadway Theatre in San Diego, California. (The Original Broadway production opened December 25th, 1940 at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre, moved to the Sam S. Shubert Theatre on September 1st, 1941 and closed April 18th, 1953 after 374 performances.) ..... CONDITION: With the exception of a corner crease to the cover and minor discoloration to an inside corner and two pages from the newspaper clippings, this rare playbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
