During the 19th century, Admiral Fitzroy developed a storm glass forecasting device that was able to predict the weather! This stunning Storm Glass Necklace is a miniature version of the same functioning Fitzroy barometer that you can wear as a pendant. The feather-like crystals inside the barrel will form and grow to create different patterns according to external temperature changes! How it really works, well that's a mystery... But, it's believed that electromagnetic changes in weather patterns activate the crystals inside! It's a combination of science and art for your jewellery collection! Please contact us for a quote if these options are not displayed. We offer free pick up of all items listed from Macclesfield, Victoria. You will be advised of the postage date of your items by email. We endeavour to pack your item/s to ensure they are received in perfect condition. We cannot take responibility for items lost or damaged in transit if the Registered Post or Express Post option was not selected (items that do not have a tracking number cannot be located easily). We do, however, suggest that you check with your local Post Office as the first option for locating your parcel as the "Parcel Awaiting Collection card" can sometimes go astray.
