This is a rare advertising handbill (flyer) promoting the one-week, out-of-town tryout of the MARK REED comedy "ONE SHOE OFF" at the Shubert Theatre in New Haven, Connecticut beginning February 25th, 1946. (The production opened February 18th, 1946 at the Nixon Theatre in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and closed March 2nd, 1946 in New Haven, failing to arrive in New York.) ..... CONDITION: With the exception of a small puncture in the lower left corner and a light vertical fold, this handbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
