This is one of four Texas ashtrays made exclusively for Neiman Marcus by Wedgwood. The front pictures A CATTLE DRIVE, and all six flags that have flown over Texas. The underside is marked: "TEXAS...Designed by Wedgwood Studios for Neiman-Marcus. Four views of old Texas of which this is: - ON THE TRAIL...WEDGWOOD - Made In England." The ashtray measures just under 5 & 3/4 inches wide. The condition is EXCELLENT. I don't believe that this was ever used. It has no chips or cracks. There is a little "crazing" (crackling) in the surface glaze on the underside. (Visible in the close-up of the bottom.) I'm not sure when the set was offered, but they seem to be hard to find.
