WHAT IS ?
Clitotem (Clipper-Totem) is a 3D printed cylinder shaped with some animal or character. It is designed to avoid the loss of your lighter. It is suitable for CLIPPER® lighters only. It's mounted on a keychain equipped with a 65cm auto-rewindable cable. It recalls the lighter after every use, allowing you to have it always at hand and preventing him to be accidentally stolen.
WHAT DOES INCLUDE ?
A. A 3D printed cylinder made in TPU shaped to resemble a character or an animal snout
B. Auto-rewindable keychain extensible until 65cm
C. A spare auto-rewindable keychain
D. The lighter IS NOT INCLUDED (because adding items that contain pressurized and inflammable gas can result in shipping failures)
WHY IS MADE IN TPU ?
Because TPU is an A M A Z I N G material. It doesn't deteriorate with friction, sun exposure, water or cold temperatures. It has rubber-like properties like flexibility, endurance, high tenacity and resistance to deformation while remaining pretty tough. Furthermore, it is a high-performative material widely used in mechanical and automotive industry. These features make it the perfect candidate for whatever situation, including extreme outdoors activities.
MEASURES AND COMPATIBILITY
- Regular Clitotem is compatible with the version LARGE and POCKET of any CLIPPER®
- Mini Clitotem is compatible with the version MICRO of any CLIPPER®
CLIPPER® is a lighter thought to be reusable. It is possible to replace almost any part of it (Gas, flint and ignition wheel), reducing considerably the amount of wasted plastic. Moreover, the company is particularly careful about ecology and the product is available worldwide.
HOW IS MADE ?
After being designed in a CAD software and/or a Mesh software, every clitotem is passed through a Slicing software and then finally is 3D-printed. Every single unit requires on average 1.30h of print, and more time to be post-processed (manually remove imperfections). It counts aprox 140-180 layers of 0.2 mm disposed on top of each others. That's why I consider every piece unique and handcrafted.
BICOLOR AVAILABILITY:
- TRANSITIONAL COLOR: Gradual discoloration from 100% of Color1 to 100% of Color2 (Color1 is the one on the top, Color2 the one on the bottom). Es: Blue-to-Green panther means a feline with blue ears and green snout.
- COLOR BLEND: Two colors blended together on a fix percentage. Es: 50% Color1 + 50% Color2
Every blend gives out a unique result and a color that didn't exist before.
CUSTOMIZATION
- Choose your character
- Choose the color
- Choose the format (regular or mini)
- Choose the color of the ring: silver or golden (election available only for regular size clitotem. Not for mini clitotem)
WHERE CAN I HANG IT ?
The most common places are: belt loop of trousers, inside a purse or a backpack, a fanny pack or a bum bag, under your table, rearview mirror of the car, in the kitchen, in the balcony. In every place where you need firepower. Use your imagination.
